Fort Minor - Ou The Back
Fort Minor - Out the back.
You know me, I just to get caught up in everyday’s life.
Try to make it trough my days so I can sleep at night.
Try to figure out my ways through the means of right and wrongs. But like you used too say nothing feels like its really worth it.
Forget perfect, I’m trying not to bee worthless.
Since I last saw you I’ve been looking for a purpose (?)
Well I met this kind who thought like I did.
He had a weird way of looking at it.
This is what he said:
Slip out the back, before they know you where there
And at the worst you see nobody cares
Cause you don’t wanna bee around, when it al goes down
Even heroes know when to bee scared.
Slip out the back, before they know you where there
And at the worst you see nobody cares
Cause you don’t wanna bee around, when it al goes down
Even heroes know when to bee scared
Now, I don’t remember where I met him or remember his name.
But he walked funny like he was to big for his frame.
Just over five foot but he weight a bug fifty.
And what he said seems so right it stuck with me.
Listen it’s like poker. You can’ play you’re best.
But you got to know when to fold you’re cards and take a rest.
And know when to hold you’re cards, hold you’re breath
and hope that nobody else is stocking the deck.
Because I don’t need to tell you that life isn’t fair.
It doesn’t care if a …………cuts of you’re air.
And like you would like someone to say it’s okay.
In the truest part of our hart everybody’s affright.
We’re just underappreciated and overwhelmed.
Find it so hard to hide our fear that we’re scarring our selves.
You understand what I’m saying cause you’ve always did.
But its different in the words of a cowardly kid.
Slip out the back, before they know you where there
At the worst you see nobody cares
Cause you don’t wanna bee around, when it al goes down
Even heroes know when to bee scared.
Slip out the back, before they know you where there
At the worst you see nobody cares
Cause you don’t wanna bee around, when it al goes down
Even heroes know when to bee scared
And I’m no hero, you remembered how it was, you know.
Al I ever did was worry feeling out of control.
To the point where everything is going end over end.
I’m spinning around in circles again.
This is where you come in.
All of this just to explain to you why I had to separate myself from yesterdays life.
Please remember this isn’t how I didn’t hoped is would bee.
But I had to protected you from me.
That’s why I slipped out the back before you knew I was there
I know you felt unprepared.
But every single time I was around I just bring you down
And I can tell that it was time to bee scarred.
That’s why I slipped out the back before you knew I was there
And I know the way I left you wasn’t fair.
I didn’t want to bee around just to bring you down.
I’m not a hero, but don’t think I didn’t care.
You know me, I just to get caught up in everyday’s life.
