Douwe Bob - I Dont Like Christmas All That Much

Well I sure do love the summer and I don’t mind the autumn rain
And I just can’t wait for the spring to come to me again
When winter is coming round the bend I stay in bed don’t see my friends
I guess I don’t like Christmas all that much

Don’t want the turkey on the table I wanna eat my salad in my socks
No gluhwein in my jar I’ll have a whiskey on the rocks
Well I hope you understand I’m not much of a family man
I guess I don’t like Christmas all that much

It’s not that I don’t like the snow, might I say it’s kind of funny though
At Christmas everyone starts being nice
It’s strange we need this time of year,
to help someone and turn a listen ear to people who are suffering all their life
Well maybe I’ve got it all wrong
maybe my mind is weak, but least my words are strong
but till that day I’ll keep in my mind, I’ll be walking right behind
cause ooh I don’t like Christmas all so much

It’s not that I don’t like the snow,
might I say though, at Christmas everyone starts being nice
It’s strange we need this time of year
to help someone and turn a listen ear to people who have suffered all their life

Well maybe I’ve got it all wrong,
maybe my mind is weak, at least my words are strong
but till that day I’ll keep this in mind, and I’ll be walking right behind
cause I don’t like Christmas all that much

well, till that day I’ll keep a this in mind, and I’ll be walking right behind
cause I don’t like Christmas all that much
